After our morning tour of the Colosseum, the tour continued through the Roman Forum and then we took some time to explore the area on our own.
I'll admit, by this point in the trip we were all pretty tired. We only had two nights left before heading home. But, walking around an area that was more than 2,000 years old in the middle of a big city, was pretty darn cool. The guide we had did an excellent job of pointing out what things used to be and showed a "Then and Now" comparison.
