Sunday we spent some time driving through the Blackhills National Forest looking for great photo spots.
It snowed about 4 inches Saturday night.
We also visited the Jewel Cave National Monument but we didn't take a tour of this cave.
After the Badlands we visited the Wind Cave National Park. The cave is a giant part of the park underground, but they have also preserved the area for wildlife.
We were kind of curious what these guys were doing....so dad asked...turns our there is a natural mineral in the red dirt that they like to eat.
This is the only naturual entrance to Wind Cave
We took a ranger guided tour through the cave.
