This was a nice hike. There is an Upper and a Lower Crystal Lakes. For this outing, we stopped at the Lower and had lunch while waiting on others to join us. The hike to the Upper will have to be on the next trip.
We all started out together on the hike, but split up into different groups along the way.
At the Lower Crystal Lake we found the remains of this log cabin.
Being the photo geek that I am, I saw this cool view of the mountains through a window in the log cabin....so we had to capitalize on the photo opportunity...
