I visited Curecanti at sunset and sunrise the next morning. Hiked to the Pinnacles area and enjoyed a frozen lake sunrise.

Took this shot closer to sunset and realized there was a hike up to the Pinnacles. Decided it was too late in the date and that I might try it in the morning.

Hike to the Pinnacles was very nice early in the morning - took longer than I had planned but it was peaceful and worth it. Sarah actually called me while I was hiking back to the car and we had a nice visit - almost felt like she was with me :-)

Saw this tree on the side of the road and it caught my eye

Since I started my National Park Quest there are a few animals that have eluded me....the Big Horn Sheep being one of them. Saw this on the side of the freeway and got honked at as I pulled over to take pictures.
