On the way back to the airport from Mammoth Cave, we took a little side trip to the Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park. Honestly wasn't expecting much but this ended up being pretty cool. They have a semi replica of the memorial from DC - but it was under renovation when we were there.

Ashlyn
was full of energy on this trip and decided to climb all the steps.....I watched...

One of the things that amazed
Ashlyn
most about Kentucky was the amount of leaves on the ground. She enjoyed running and jumping through the leaves every chance she could.
