This is one of the best preserved battlefields from the Civil War
George Washington Carver National Monument - Joplin, Missouri
Harry S Truman National Historic Site - Independence, Missouri
The City of Independence is one of my customers so this was an easy one! I also visited the Presidential Library and Museum. While not affiliated with the National Park Program it was still very interesting.
