Dad and I took a quick weekend trip to South Dakota and toured some of the National Parks and Monuments in the area. He was very patient with my picture taking and together we endured the rain, wind, mud, snow, and extreme cold. Something us Texans aren't always used too. It was a great weekend and we got some great pictures. Saturday morning we got up early visited the Badlands National Park. I had planned some longer hikes for us....bet let's just say the weather did not cooperate...
